East Frisia has developed a unique tea culture relatively unknown beyond its borders. This specially blended black tea dates back to the 17th century and, according to East Frisian custom, should be enjoyed with rock sugar and cream.
Blended in East Frisia, a small northern region of Germany, two teas of Assam and Darjeeling epitomize both the Indian (Camellia assamica) and the Chinese (Camellia sinensis) subspecies of the tea plant.
Health & Well-Being Benefits:
Our testing shows that this black tea is higher in caffeine and antioxidants than most black teas. Brewed in the Frisian style, it is both strong and stimulating. This tea can also reduce the risk of heart attack.
